Instructional Video with Time-Lapse
This ‘Dirty Water Filter’ instruction video was created after the earthquake in Tibet to help people learn how to filter and treat their own water. I filmed it using a Mini iPad and a GoPro, created the graphics in Photoshop, and edited the video in Adobe Premiere.

Forbidden Pilgrimage
Documentary Series, 9 Episodes
In 2019, Voice of America proposed funding for a documentary series on Buddhist sites where the Buddha was born, lived, and passed away, which I accepted. I traveled to India and Nepal to follow in the footsteps of the Buddha, where I filmed and produced this series.
The ninth excerpt is an animation I created in Adobe After Effects to illustrate the timeline of events and how Buddhism came to Tibet.
Here is the link to the timeline on YouTube.
You can also watch all nine episodes from the VOA playlist.

Colorado River
Prior to starting at Voice of America in 2012, I created this video for a nonprofit, The Tibetan Ecology Foundation.
To create it, I spent a month traveling from the source to the end of the Colorado River on my own, planning, filming, conducting interviews and editing the footage. I even found a local musician, who created and performed the score. The documentary is 45 minutes long.
Tibetan American
Documentary, 2011
I began filming a documentary exploring Tibetan American experiences, shot with a Sony HVR-A1 HDV 1080i Digital HD Video Camera and edited in Final Cut Pro.
Ecology Can’t Wait
Ecology Can’t Wait is a text-animated video I created with Adobe Flash in 2011. The audio is a part of Dalai Lama’s speech on Tibetan Ecology.

Talks to Palsan Gyal
The opening video for interview with Paldan Gyal. Created using Adobe After Effects and Photoshop, applying glass effects and incorporating Tibetan elements such as clouds. Paldan is a famous Tibetan reporter from Radio Free Asia.
Tibetan Solidarity
As Tibetan American artist, I created this banner. This banner is based on a banner used by Tibetan students during the 2008 Year of the Earth Rat protests on March 16th. Tibetan students from the Northwest Nationalities University held a 24-hour hunger strike, candlelight vigil, and protest in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, China.
10th Reincarnation of Panchen Lama
I wrote the script and edited the life story of the 10th Panchen Lama, the second highest Tibetan lama, on the 30th anniversary of his passing. The work involved researching historical facts, collecting old pictures and footage, and editing in Adobe Premiere.
